Last weekend was a success in our thrifty treasure hunting. Goodwill was having a 50% off sale on Saturday and the Salvation Army Home store was doing 40% off of on all furniture. Here is our Loot. Lots of warm brass going on here. Must be the slight change in weather :)
These campaign style night stands will work well in the master bedroom. We will need to add about 3" for height and I was thinking of painting them a similar shade of antique white with a hint of grey as our bed and walls. A few extra wide brass L brackets on the corner fronts would be extra special too.
This mid-century oriental cabinet would look lovely in a light coral.
My heart was racing when I spotted this mid-century brass Casella light at Goodwill. It is a beast.
A lovely vintage bentwood rocking chair in impeccable condition.
The green and black striped fabric will be fun somewhere in the boy's room. The metallic loafers are super comfy. I will need to find a matching brass sconce for our bedside, and the overhanging picture light should look nice above the Ringholz painting in our living room.
All for about $76.
