October is a fruitful month for garage, yard and estate sales. The weather is cooling off and people are clearing out for the holiday season. This last weekend we purchased a MCM twin bed, a couple of Oriental rugs, a few smaller pieces and a patio set.
Take a peek.
This vintage bed was too cute to pass up. I love it's low profile which eliminates the need for a box spring, and it is surprisingly sturdy.
These lovely Oriental rugs have a great color palette and should look cute in the guest and powder bathrooms. They do need some intense outdoor scrubbing first.
Some fun retro fabrics that might be cute for future projects and a few FireKing bowls. The little black and white Toile set is really sweet too.
Our front porch wicker resin patio set has been obliterated under the Arizona sun and we have had our eyes peeled for a metal set for some time. My sweet husband, on his way home from an early morning basketball pickup game (with a sprained ankle, I might add), found this set with really nice lines. He loves and knows me very well :) The two chaises will go by the pool. Oh, and that metal wheelbarrow that my sweetie is hiding behind was another score for $5. Our other wheelbarrow is a hard plastic and was close to $80.
All for about $150
Happy Hunting!!
